What is a personalized card?
It’s just like a normal card, except you get to choose the photo or image that appears on the card. Of course, there are image guidelines, but as long as your image complies with those basic rules, you can create a card that’s unique to you.
What is the cost for a personalized card?
Members may receive one FREE personalized card prior to the cards expiration date. If you wish to change the image on your card prior to the expiration date a $5 fee will apply.
How long will it take to receive my new card?
You can pick up your new card once you give us final approval at any of our branches. Or, you can choose to have your card mailed. You will receive your card within 3 to 5 business days after your image has been approved by Wildfire Credit Union and you submit confirmation for production.
Will my new card have the same account number, expiration date and PIN?
Your card number and PIN will remain the same. However, the expiration date will change. Please inform any merchants with whom you have setup recurring payments of the new expiration date to ensure that your payments continue without interruption.
What happens if my image is rejected?
You will be contacted by the credit union explaining that you will need to submit another image and the reason why. The service may be revoked from any person who continually submits images that violate our Image Guidelines.
How often can I change the image on my personalized card?
You can change the image on your card as often as you would like. However a $5 fee will apply for each personalized card produced.
Can my joint owner have their own personalized card?
Sure! Your joint owner may have their own personalized card. Card production charges apply the same as the charges for the owner.
What happens when my card expires?
Upon card expiration, a new card will be issued. Unless changed by you, the same card design will be sent to you.
Lost or stolen card
If your card is lost or stolen during normal business hours, please contact Wildfire Credit Union immediately at 800-227-2328. For 24-hour assistance, seven days a week, call 1-866-304-8760 .
Does customizing my card change my PIN?
Your PIN will remain the same.
What size and format does the image need to be in?
The image needs to be in jpeg, gif or png formats and at least 200 x 200 pixels. To ensure your card looks as good as possible, choose a clear, sharply-focused image, taken at a high resolution (at least 300dpi).
What if I can't upload the photo electronically, can I send a hardcopy?
No, personalized card designs can only be created by submitting them through online banking.
