Location: Saginaw

This position completes daily operational data processing tasks that are critical to the Credit Union's functions. Routinely monitors systems to identify technical problems. Provide user end support for routine issues by responding to telephone calls, email and help desk tickets.

Qualifications

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Computer training is preferred

Required Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of computer hardware and software.

Required Experience:

  • At least one year of experience as a Computer Operator or similar position.
  • Symitar and/or AIX experience preferred.

Skills/Abilities:

  • Attentive to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to operate related computer applications and business equipment.
  • Willingness to assist others.

Location: Saginaw

This position is responsible for performing collection activities associated with various delinquent member accounts, including Visa credit cards, lines of credit, secured loans, signature loans, real estate loans, home equity lines of credit and overdrawn accounts. The incumbent must have the ability to utilize various techniques, as circumstances indicate, to promptly collect on delinquent accounts. In addition, this position will be responsible for reviewing delinquent accounts, determining probable reasons for account status and contact members to resolve the delinquencies.

Qualifications

Education:

  • High school graduate or equivalent

Required Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of collections procedures and related laws and regulations.
  • Knowledge of Credit Union loan products and policies.
  • Understanding of default and enforcement clauses.
  • Knowledge of account ownership.
  • Understanding of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code.
  • Understanding of Small Claims Court system.
  • Understanding of recovery from casualty insurance policies.

Required Experience:

  • 2 – 5 years of collection experience with a full service financial institution required.
  • Previous lending experience is helpful.

Skills/Abilities:

  • Accuracy and thoroughness in work.
  • Excellent communication, telephone and public relations skills.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to work well in stressful situations.
  • Ability to operate related computer and internet-based applications and other business equipment.

Part-time Consumer Loan Processor is responsible for coding, posting and preparing all documents necessary for closing consumer loans. This position confirms details and coordinates closings with members; and ensures outstanding service to internal and external members.

Qualifications

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Required Knowledge:

  • Understanding of consumer loan products and services.
  • Knowledge of loan processing functions and related requirements and procedures.

Required Experience:

  • One to two years of varied office experience preferred.

Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Good verbal and public relations skills.
  • Ability to operate related computer applications and business equipment.
