Reach Out to the Merchant
Merchants are usually willing to refund charges if you contact them. You must first make an attempt to resolve the issue with the merchant before filing a dispute with Wildfire. Visa® requires that we verify your effort to reach out to the merchant.
While speaking with a merchant take notes on as much information as possible:
If your transaction was a result of fraud, you are not required to contact the merchant.
If you are disputing a charge that was supposed to be canceled, please provide proof of cancellation. This could be a cancellation number, an email, or even a screenshot showing the phone call was made.
Upon review of your dispute and signed form, Wildfire may issue or reverse provisional credit pending investigation.
When filing a dispute, Visa may require additional documentation. We may contact you regarding the request and what is needed to proceed with your dispute.
