Position: Training Specialist

Job Description

  • Responsible for coordinating the development, implementation and updating of Credit Union training programs, and delivering training.
  • Ensures that Teller functions are performed in accordance with established Credit Union policies, procedures and regulations.

Knowledge

  • Understanding of the training and development process.
  • Thorough knowledge of teller operations and procedures.
  • Understanding of share and loan product attributes and related procedures and regulatory compliance.
  • Knowledge of Credit Union products, services, policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of Jack Henry system including Symitar, Synergy, Synapsis and Meridian Link preferred.
  • Understanding of the Credit Union Philosophy.

Experience

  • Three to five years of related experience.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience.

Skills/Abilities

  • Proficient with computers, must be very familiar with Microsoft Office including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Professional appearance, dress and attitude.
  • Solid math skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently, multi-task, prioritize, and meet project deadlines.
  • Able to operate all related computer and business applications including telephone, calculator, television and video/sound equipment.
