Laura Szpont brings 26 years of experience in commercial lending, with a career dedicated to helping businesses navigate financial decisions and achieve their goals. As a VP of Business Services at Wildfire Credit Union, she takes pride in serving as a trusted partner to business owners by providing guidance and solutions that support continued growth. Laura holds a master's degree in finance with dual specializations in corporate finance and bank and financial institution management, strengthening her deep understanding of the financial industry. She is actively involved in the business community through organizations including the Troy Chamber, Women's Business Forum, Chaldean Chamber, and Macomb County Chamber, while also volunteering through her church. Outside of work, Laura enjoys walking, reading, swimming, and staying active—she is also a former competitive fencer.
