Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Consumer Loan Processor to join our team at Wildfire Credit Union in Saginaw, Michigan. In this role, you will provide exceptional service to our members while processing consumer loans according to related requirements and procedures. This position offers an opportunity to grow within a supportive community-focused environment and contribute to our mission of serving members with integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clerical support for all phases of consumer loan processing activities and promotions.
  • Prepare paperwork to support loan applications and prepare all necessary documents for closing consumer loans.
  • Coordinate loan closings, maintain pending approved applications, receive and initiate telephone calls to and from internal and external members, and answer routing questions.

Required Knowledge

  • Understanding of consumer lending products and services.
  • Knowledge of loan processing functions and related requirements and procedures.

Education/Certification

  • High school graduate or equivalent.

Experience Required

  • One to three years of varied office experience preferred.

Skills/Abilities

  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Good verbal public relations skills.
  • Able to operate related computer applications and business equipment.
