Position: Data Analytics Intern - Part Time - Saginaw

Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and strategic Data Analytics Intern to participate in a structured 12-week project-based learning experience focused on auditing existing dashboards, cataloging data assets, redesigning strategic dashboards, and development and pilot analytics solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Contributing to enterprise reporting, dashboard modernization and data governance initiatives
  • Provides hands-on experience with analytics tools, data modeling, and stakeholder engagement
  • Supporting strategic reporting improvements across the organization

Knowledge

  • Foundational understanding of data analytics concepts, reporting tools, or database structures
  • Exposure to PowerBI, SQL, or similar tools is helpful but not required

Education

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or a related field

Experience

  • No professional experience is required, prior coursework or academic projects in analytics, visualization, or data modeling preferred
  • Ability to learn new tools and concepts quickly

Skills/Abilities

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally
  • Comfortable working independently and in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Interest in dashboard design, data governance, or business intelligence
