What is Ignite Pay?
Ignite Pay is a service from Wildfire Credit Union that gives you access to your direct deposits (ex. paycheck, tax refunds, and government benefits) up to two days earlier than scheduled.
Is there a fee for using Ignite Pay?
No. Ignite Pay is a free benefit for Wildfire Credit Union members.
Do I need to opt in for Ignite Pay?

Yes. Enabling Ignite Pay is easy and can be done through online banking, mobile app, or by contacting us.

Online Banking:

Step 1: "Log in" to Wildfire's personal online banking.

Step 2: Select "Self-Service" in navigation menu.

Step 3: Click "Ignite Pay" and "Turn On" Ignite Pay toggle.

Step 4: "Agree" to terms and conditions.

Mobile App:

Step 1: "Log in" to Wildfire's personal mobile app.

Step 2: Select "More" under navigation menu.

Step 3: Click "Ignite Pay" and "Turn On" Ignite Pay toggle.

Step 4: "Agree" to terms and condition.

 
How does Ignite Pay work?
When Wildfire receives notice of an incoming electronic ACH direct deposit from your employer or benefits provider, we make those funds available to you right away instead of waiting for the scheduled payment date.
Which types of deposits qualify for early access?
Most electronic ACH direct deposits are eligible, including payroll, tax refunds, Social Security, retirement benefits, and disability benefits.
Does getting my money early affect my next payday?
No. You’ll continue to receive future deposits on your regular schedule—Ignite Pay just makes your available funds show up sooner.
Will I always receive my deposit two days early?
Early access can vary depending on when the sender submits the electronic ACH deposit. While it’s often up to two days early, some deposits may arrive closer to the regular payday.
How will I know when my deposit has arrived early?
You can check your account balance in online banking or our mobile app. We’ll also send alerts if you’re signed up for deposit notifications.
What if I don’t receive my deposit early?
Sometimes employers or government agencies send deposits later than usual. If we don’t receive the deposit information in advance, early access may not be possible for that cycle—but your funds will still post as soon as we receive them.
Can I use my funds right away once they’re available?
Yes! Once your deposit posts to your account through Ignite Pay, your money is ready to use immediately.
Is my money safe with Ignite Pay?
Certainly! Your funds are still deposited directly into your Wildfire account and protected by the same NCUA insurance as any other deposit.
If I have more than one ACH deposit coming into my account, can I choose which one to use with Ignite Pay?
No. When Ignite Pay is set up on an account, all eligible ACH deposits will be activated for Ignite Pay. It is an all-or-nothing feature by account.
Can business accounts use Ignite Pay?
No, currently this feature is only available on personal accounts at this time.
When do Automatic Clearing House or electronic ACH (ex: Direct Deposits) post?
We process ACH files from the Federal Reserve several times a day. Posting times may vary, but we post around 2:00 A.M., 7:30 A.M., 12:30 P.M., 4:30 P.M., and 6:00 P.M.  This includes all member transactions, both deposits and withdrawals.

Disclaimers:

You may receive a direct deposit up to two days early with Ignite Pay for qualifying direct deposits. Ignite Pay deposits are dependent on when the deposits are received from the originator and is not determined by Wildfire Credit Union. We cannot guarantee that deposits will be posted prior to their anticipated settlement date. Some direct deposit types may not be eligible. Account must be in good standing to qualify for Ignite Pay. We reserve the right to suspend this service at any time. Members may opt in or opt out by logging in to your online banking, mobile app, or by contacting us.
