Personal Online Banking

How to Enroll

Step 1: Select "Login" in the upper right hand corner of the Wildfire website.

Step 2: Select "Enroll" under Personal Banking.

Step 3: Input your 8 digit Account Number and other personal information*.

*Input the email and phone number you have on file with Wildfire.

Step 4: Click the blue "Continue" button at the bottom of the page.

Step 5: Create a unique username and password based on the requirements listed.

Step 6: Read the "Terms and Conditions" and check "Accept Terms and Conditions".

Step 7: Click "Create", to open your Wildfire Personal Online Banking.

Step 8: Confirm the setup by logging in, Select "Log into your account".

Step 9: Enter your username and password.

Step 10: Select a "Verification Method" option and enter "Verification Code" sent to phone.

Step 11: Follow the final prompt to "Verify your E-mail".

Forgot Username or Password

Click on "Login" at the top of our website. Just below the login fields, you'll see a link that says "I've forgotten my password or username." Click on it and follow the on-screen instructions to recover your account.

Online Banking Locked

After three failed attempts you will be locked out and will no longer be able to use the “Forgot Password” feature.

If this occurs, please contact us to unlock your online banking during business hours.

Activate Card

Step 1: Log in to Personal Online Banking by clicking "Login" in the top right of the Wildfire website.

Step 2: On main screen, click "Self Service" at the top of your screen. Select "Manage Cards" from drop down to display your cards.

Step 3: Click on the inactive card you wish to activate and then click the button that says "Activate Card".

Step 4: To set your PIN, please call 1.866.304.8760. If setting your PIN for the first time, press 1. If you currently have a PIN and would like to change it, press 3.

Lock/Unlock Your Card

Step 1: Log in to Personal Online Banking by clicking "Login" in the top right of the Wildfire website.

Step 2: On main screen, click "Self Service" at the top of your screen. Select "Manage Cards" to display all of your cards.

Step 3: Select the card you want to view and click the "Lock Card" toggle in the box below the card image to lock your card.

Step 4: "Unlock Card" by switching the toggle back to the unlock position.

Make Transfer/Payments

Step 1: Log in to Personal Online Banking by clicking "Login" in the top right of the Wildfire website.

Step 2: On main screen, click “Move Money” tab at the top of the screen and select “Payments and Transfers” in the drop down menu.

Step 3: Under “From” select the account or loan to transfer money from.

Step 4: Under “To” select the account, loan, or credit card you wish to send funds to.

Step 5: Enter the amount in the “Amount” field and select the "Frequency" for the transfer.

Step 6: Click the blue “Continue” button at the bottom and then the “Submit” button on the following screen.

Person-To-Person (P2P) Transfers

Step 1: Log in to Personal Online Banking by clicking "Login" in the top right of the Wildfire website.

Step 2: On main screen, click “Move Money” tab at the top of the screen and select “P2P” in the drop down menu.

Step 3: Click "Add" at the top right of the "People" box to add a recipient. Enter their name, and email or phone number in the proper fields and click "Save".

Step 4: Add your Wildfire debit card for quick transfers by clicking "Add" at the top right of the "Send Money" box.

Step 5: Click the "To" field under "Send Money" and select a recipient in the pop up menu.

Step 6: Click "From" and select your account or debit card in menu.

Step 7: Enter the amount you wish to send in the "Amount" field.

Step 8: Type a security question and answer in the corresponding fields for the person you are sending money to for validation.

Step 9: Check the "Terms & Conditions" box and select a "Send Date" and "Frequency" for the transfer.

Step 10: Click "Send" and a message will be sent to the receivers email or phone.

NOTE: You are only allowed to have 5 P2P transfers in progress at any given time.

Bill Pay

Step 1: Log in to Personal Online Banking by clicking "Login" in the top right of the Wildfire website.

Step 2: On main screen, click “Move Money” at the top of the screen and select “Pay Bills” in the drop down menu.

Step 3: To pay a bill select a payee in the list that appears in the "Pay Bills" box or search for one.

• Add a Payee: simply click "Add Payee" in the top right of the "Pay Bills" box and type in payee name to select from list for electronic payments.

Step 4: Once you select a payee enter a "Send Date" and then enter the amount you are sending.

Step 5: Select the "Pay From Account" you wish to transfer money from and the "Frequency".

Step 6: Click "Continue" and then "Pay" if everything looks correct.

* Important Disclaimer: Bill Pay checks will show envelope icon and are sent via mail. Bill Pay checks will clear your Wildfire checking account, when the check clears at receiving institution.

Connect External Accounts

Step 1: Log in to Personal Online Banking by clicking "Login" in the top right of the Wildfire website.

Step 2: On main screen, click “My Accounts” tab at the top of the screen and select “Connected Accounts” in the drop down menu.

Step 3: Click the blue "+ Connect Account" button in the top right.

Step 4: Enter your other financial institutions' account information and click the blue "Connect" button.

Step 5: Once submitted, you must wait 1-3 business days for micro deposits to hit your other financial institution. Confirm the micro deposit amounts at other institution.

Step 6: Log back in to Wildfire Personal Online Banking, select "Connected Accounts" and input the micro deposit amounts to "Activate".

View & Download Paperless Statements

Step 1: Log in to Personal Online Banking by clicking "Login" in the top right of the Wildfire website..

Step 2: On main screen, click "Self Service" and select "Account Statements" from the drop down menu.

Step 3: Select the "Preview" button or "Download" button for statements.

Turn on/off Paperless Statements

Step 1: Log in to Personal Online Banking by clicking "Login" in the top right of the Wildfire website.

Step 2: On main screen, click "Self Service" and select "My Profile" from drop down menu.

Step 3: Under "My Profile" select "Statement Options" from heading.

Step 4: Use the Paper Statements toggle under Statement Options to disable or enable paper statements.

Note: This is only available within online banking.

Hide & Nickname Accounts

Hide Accounts

Step 1: Log in to Personal Online Banking by clicking "Login" in the top right of the Wildfire website.

Step 2: On main screen, click "Manage Accounts" located at the top right of your "My Accounts" screen.

Step 3: Find the account you wish to hide and click the blue toggle to the right of account. This will turn the toggle gray and that account is hidden.

Nickname Accounts

Step 1: Under "Manage Accounts" page above, find the account you wish to nickname and click the pencil icon to the right of account.

Step 2: Enter the new name, then click the checkmark button to confirm.

Change Mobile Number for Text or Call

Step 1: Log in to Personal Online Banking by clicking "Login" in the top right of the Wildfire website.

Step 2: On main screen, click "Self Service" and select "My Profile" from the drop down menu.

Step 3: Under "Profile", scroll down to the "Phone Number" section and click three dots next to "Voice" or "SMS".

Step 4: In the "Change phone number" box, enter a phone number in the "Phone Number" field for SMS or Voice and click the blue "Save Changes" button.

* Important Disclaimer: Only one phone number is allowed per account for SMS.

Ordering Checks

Step 1: Log in to Personal Online Banking by clicking "Login" in the top right of the Wildfire website.

Step 2: On main screen, click "Self Service" and select "Order Checks" from drop down menu.

Step 3: Choose the checking account for order and hit "Submit".

Step 4: A valid pop-up will take you to an external page, where you will complete your check order.

Setup Personal Online Alerts

Step 1: Log in to Online Banking by clicking "Login" in the top right of the Wildfire website.

Step 2: On main screen, click "Self Service" at the top of your screen. Select "Manage Notifications".

Step 3: Select the "Account" you want to add or remove notifications. 

Step 4: Turn "On" or "Off" the toggle for the type of notification you want and whether you receive a text or an e-mail. 

Mobile App Locked

After three failed attempts you will be locked out and will no longer be able to use the “Forgot Password” feature.

If this occurs, please contact us to unlock your mobile app during business hours.

Activate Card- Mobile

Step 1: Log in to our Personal Mobile Banking App, select "Cards" at the bottom of your screen.

Step 2: Swipe to the "Inactive" card you wish to activate and click "Activate" in the blue box below the card.

Step 3: To choose your PIN, please call 1.866.304.8760. If you are choosing your PIN for the first time, press 1. If you currently have a PIN and would like to change it, press 3.

Lock/Unlock Your Card

Step 1: Log in to our Personal Mobile Banking App, select "Cards" at the bottom of your screen.

Step 2: Swipe to the card and tap "Lock Card" with the toggle below the card image to lock.

Step 3: "Unlock Card" by switching the toggle back to the unlock position.

Make Transfer/Payments

Step 1: Log in to our Personal Mobile Banking App, select "Move Money" at the bottom of your screen.

Step 2: Select "Make a Transfer".

Step 3: Under “From” select the account or loan to transfer money from.

Step 4: Under “To” select the account, loan, or credit card you wish to send funds to.

Step 5: Put in "Amount" and select frequency under "When" field.

Step 6: Click the blue “Continue to review” button and "Confirm and transfer” button to complete transfer.

Person-To-Person (P2P) Transfers

Step 1: Log in to our Personal Mobile Banking App, select "Move Money" at the bottom of your screen.

Step 2: Select “P2P” at bottom of menu.

Step 3: Click "Add" at the top right of the "Send Money" box to add a recipient. Then enter their name, and email or phone number.

Step 4: Add your Wildfire debit card for quick transfers by clicking "Add" at the top right of the "Send Money" box.

Step 5: Click the "To" field under "Send Money" and select a person in the pop up menu.

Step 6: Click "From" and select your account or debit card in menu.

Step 7: Enter the amount you wish to send in the "Amount" field.

Step 8: Type a security question and answer in the corresponding fields for the person you are sending money to for validation.

Step 9: Check the "Terms & Conditions" box and select a "Send Date" and "Frequency" for the transfer.

Bill Pay

Step 3: To pay a bill click "Select Payee" under "Quick Pay" or search a payee in the list.

• Add Payee: simply click "Add Payee" in the top right of the "Bill Pay Dashboard" and type in payee name to select from list for electronic payment.

Step 4: Once you select a payee enter a "Send Date" and then enter the amount you are sending to the payee.

Step 5: Next, select the "Pay From Account" you wish to transfer money from and the "Frequency".

Step 6: Click "Continue" and then "Pay" if everything looks correct.

View & Download Paperless Statements

Step 1: Log in to our Personal Mobile Banking App, and select any share or loan under "Accounts".

Step 2: Tap the three dots "More" icon or "Statements".

Step 3: Select the statement you would like to view.

Choose Favorite Accounts

Step 1: Log in to our Personal Mobile Banking App, and click on the account or loan you want to favorite under the "Accounts" tab.

Step 2: Mark account as favorite by tapping the "Star" icon in the top right corner of the transactions page.

Step 3: You can also remove favorites by tapping the star in same location.

Note: Favorites will display at the top of Accounts page

Setup Mobile Alerts

Step 1: Log in to our Wildfire Mobile Banking App, select "More" at the bottom of your screen.

Step 2: Click "Manage Notifications" at the top.

Step 3: Select the "Account" you want to add or remove notifications and select the type of notification.

Step 4: Turn "On" or "Off" the toggle for the type of notification you want and whether you receive a push, text, e-mail, or in-app-notification. 

What are the deposit and transaction limits?

Accounts have a $5,000 per check, per day limit and a maximum total limit of $20,000 in any 30-day period.

How long should I retain my original check?

At least two weeks after posted to your account. When you are ready to discard it, mark it "VOID" and dispose of it.

What happens if I discard the check and an issue arises?

If an issue should arise and the original check is no longer available, please contact the issuer of the check to obtain a copy of the check that can be re-submitted for deposit.

Is there a fee to use Mobile Deposit?

No, the Mobile Deposit service is FREE to Wildfire members making deposits to their eligible account(s).

What are the guidelines for taking a proper photo for Mobile Deposit?

Make sure your check image follows these conditions:

• Take the picture in a well-lit area and with a dark background.
• Make sure the check is not cut off and all four corners of the check are visible.
• Avoid shadows and only the check should be visible in the picture.
• Make sure the check image is clear.

Why was my Mobile Deposit declined?

Possible reasons for a deposit being declined include:

• Ineligible check or duplicate.
• Missing signature or Wildfire endorsement.
• Check is over 6 months old or has a future date.
• Poor image quality.
• Daily mobile deposit limit exceeded.

What types of checks CANNOT be deposited with Mobile Deposit?

The following items are NOT eligible for Mobile Deposit:

• Any check made payable (individually or jointly) to someone who is not an owner on your account.
• Post-dated or Stale-dated checks.
• Checks containing alterations or are illegible (poor image quality).
• Checks that you suspect to be fraudulent.
• Checks or items not payable in United States currency or drawn on financial institutions located outside the United States.
• Any substitute check, the original of which has already been presented for deposit.
• Any image of a check that has already been deposited.
• Money orders, travelers checks, gift checks, savings bonds, starter or counter checks.
• Checks that require authorization or have asterisks in front of check amount.
• Checks from another financial institution to a closed account.

When will deposited funds be available in my account?

If you deposit a check Monday – Friday between 9:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. ET funds will be available that day based on our Funds Availability of Deposits.

If you deposit a check Monday – Friday after 5:00 P.M. ET, Saturday, Sunday or a Holiday, funds will be available the next business day based on our Funds Availability of Deposits.

Why must the check be endorsed with the words For Wildfire Mobile Deposit Only?

This specific endorsement ensures that checks deposited through Mobile Deposit will not be deposited again at a Wildfire Credit Union branch or at another financial institution. Checks that are not endorsed as specified will be rejected by Wildfire Credit Union.
